HEADTEACHER’S NEWSLETTER

The weather this week has been super and has made all our outdoor learning activities even more enjoyable. Pupils from Years Five and Six have particularly benefitted during their Bikeability Level 2 training. Congratulations to all participants who were very well behaved and have demonstrated good knowledge of safe cycling on the village roads.

I very much hope that the good weather continues for the half term holiday and that everyone has a safe and restful break.

Library book appeal

The Beast Quest series of books is a very popular series with our KS2 pupils.  If you have any at home you would like to donate, Mrs Pearse has confirmed they are listed on Accelerated Reader so would love to stock some more. Some of the copies we have are beginning to look tired and worn and so are on the list for replacing.

Don’t forget to check our Career Opportunities page regularly.  We will be looking for a Teaching Assistant and a class teacher to join the team from September 2023.   Do get in touch with the office team if you, or anyone you know would like more information.

Some of the brave staff at Steeple Claydon school are doing a run to raise money for Cancer Research UK! Please donate to support us as we get thoroughly muddy in the name of charity!
