HEADTEACHER’S NEWSLETTER
Here we are at the end of another busy week at Steeple Claydon Primary School! Highlights have included Year Six completing their coronation activites by placing the ‘kindness rocks’ they painted in various positions around the village. We hope you enjoy them if you find one! The FOSCS discos yesterday evening were also a great success. Huge thank you to all the staff and parents who helped and Mr Fortnam for being the DJ. Year Two have done a great job of trying their best while completing their SATs assessments this week and Year 3 and 4 had a great time at the Oxford Science Museum on Wednesday. It is great that we can enhance the children’s primary school journey with all these memorable experiences!

Staff news
Sadly Mrs Vicky Jaycock will be leaving us at the end of next week. She has been a highly valued teaching assistant, predominantly in Year Three, over the last two years and has truly gone ‘above and beyond’ her job role in order to ensure the children have the best possible primary experience. She is very well loved and trusted by pupils and staff alike and we will particularly miss her positivity and bubbly personality which comes through in everything she does. The support she has provided for individual children has also been excellent. In addition to all of these things, Vicky has been instrumental in creating and managing our Facebook page and raising our profile to celebrate all the great things that happen here out in the wider community. Thank you Vicky for everything you have given the school and we wish you well for your future career.
