HEADTEACHER’S NEWSLETTER

Happy New Year and welcome to the first newsletter of 2023! A particularly warm welcome to the six pupils and their families who joined our school at the beginning of this term, we hope you are settling into the school and the community well.  Our new pre-schoolers are also having lots of fun making new friends and finding their feet.

Mrs Christine Richards

Letter re attendance and illness

All pupils who were registered at our school last term should have brought a letter home this week which details your child’s attendance record for the Autumn Term. In keeping with current government advice, we are keen to work with you to ensure attendace at school is maximised whilst also keeping the spread of infection to a minimum. Please read the letter for guidelines on when children should and should not stay at home and do get in touch if you have any queries or would like to discuss your child’s attendance record in particular.
