HEADTEACHER’S NEWSLETTER

We are very much looking forward to welcoming you to our Christmas celebration events over the next few weeks. If the rehearsals I have heard from my office are anything to go by, you are bound to enjoy all the performances and appreciate the work the children (and staff) have put into them. Thank you to those who supported the Christmas Shopping Evening yesterday, your support for FOSCS’ fundraising efforts is greatly appreciated.

As you will see from the lists of awards, today marked a milestone for our Reception class who attended our ‘Star Assembly’ for the first time! The rest of the school loved having them with us and they behaved really well.

Mrs Christine Richards

Congratulations!

Well done to the following children who won the Claydon Dental Children in Need colouring competition.

1st Prize – Stella
2nd Prize – Tallulah
3rd Prize – Jack F

Please use the path in the car park!

Now that social distancing is less of an issue and for safety reasons, please could all parents use the path by the side of the car park to access the school and closely supervise their children. There was a near-accident the other day when a parent waved their children across the car park and they ran between parked cars, nearly running in front of a delivery van. While we make every effort to ensure no vehicles are moving at pick up and drop off times, we would ensure the safety of all further if parents and children all use the path from now on.

Christmas Lunch

Please note that if your child would like a Christmas lunch on 15th December, it must be ordered with Fresh Start before next Tuesday, 6th December so that the right quantities of food can be ordered in advance.
