HEADTEACHER’S NEWSLETTER
Thank you very much on behalf of Children in Need to all families who have donated via Parent Pay as part of our non-uniform day. If your child participated but you have not yet contributed your donation, the link to do so is here https://app.parentpay.com/
The children have also spent time this week, in keeping with this week’s value of compassion, discussing themes related to anti-bullying week such as friendship, tolerance, being kind etc.
We would also like to thank all of those families who have brought in items for the shoe box appeal, sending Christmas gifts in shoe boxes to families in need overseas. Thank you in particular to Mrs Abu-Rish and Mrs Jaycock who have masterminded the collating of the boxes and made significant contributions of both gifts and their own time to do so. This is a lovely gesture to be a part of and all of the events this week really help us ensure the children understand and can demonstrate our school values which are such a very important part of their learning and education.
Mrs Christine Richards
Please drive carefully!
Please could those parents whose children attend breakfast and after school club please drive carefully and slowly if you are using the school car park. Even at those times of day, there can be adults and children in this area and we would hate for an accident to occur because someone was driving too fast and not taking care when pulling in and out of parking spaces. Thank you!
Christmas Clothing Sale – deadline for donations extended
FOSCS have extended the deadline to donate used, wearable Christmas clothing. The drop off box will be outside the office door until Wednesday the 23rd of November.
