HEADTEACHER’S NEWSLETTER

What a great first week back it has been with Halloween on Monday, the discos yesterday and firework night tomorrow! I think all the children (and staff) are pretty tired after all the excitement but it is a lovely time of year. Thank you very much to FOSCS for organising the discos which were very well attended yesterday and also to the parents who helped and Mr Fortnam who played some great music! I hope you are all able to enjoy watchng fireworks safely over the weekend. Have a super time!

Mrs Christine Richards

School Photos

As you will have seen in the diary dates, all pupils will have their school photos taken on Tuesday next week. Siblings who are pupils at the school will also have their photos taken together. If your child is registered at Pre-school but does not normally attend on a Tuesday morning, you are welcome to bring them to the office at 9am and wait with them for their photo to be taken.

Remembrance Poppy Appeal

Remembrance Day falls on Friday next week and all the classes will be observing an age appropriate moment of silence at 11am. Poppies and other items are available in school and Year Six pupils will be visiting each class every day next week to distribute items to children who bring in a donation to the Poppy Appeal. While there is a suggested donation for each different item, please be as generous as you are able to be. Thank you.
